FERRARI CLUB BOWLING NIGHT! THURSDAY, JULY 16th - UPDATE This Thursday, July 16th the Ferrari Club will host its first bowling night.
*** UPDATE *** The event is scheduled for 300 Houston from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Club has reserved the VIP area which means we will have 7 dedicated lanes, our own bar and bar tender. Bowling night costs $40.00 which includes shoes and bowling ball rental. It doesn’t include food or drink, however, Club member Linda Martinez, of liquor distributor Penrod Ricard, has graciously underwritten most of the liquor and wine tab. Beer is available but on a cash basis only. You need to plan on being at 300 Houston by 6:30 so you have time to pick out your ball and shoes before bowling starts. Remember we have reserved the alleys from 7:00 to 9:00 so don’t be late. 300 Houston is an upscale entertainment venue that bills itself as a friendly club, hot new bistro, and upscale sports bar all rolled into one! Oh, and there' s also bowling. Whether you' re a bowling enthusiast or just really don't mind losing or making a fool of yourself on the lanes, it' s a blast! Previously Bunker Hill Bowling Lanes, the building was nearly 100% gutted (save for the lanes) last year and rebuilt as a high-end facility. Don' t look for hot dogs and nachos, they' re not on the menu. The leagues aren' t there either. And while you won't find a bottle of Stag' s Leap or a 1999 Chateau Petrus Pomeral on the wine list (just yet) the wines they offer are definitely not headache-inducing after one glass. Premium liquors are readily available. Please take a look at the website and let us know if you think you might like to discover muscles you never knew you had. In order to properly plan an event at 300 Houston, we need to determine the level of interest in order to put together a package that would best suit our needs. 300 Houston is located at 925 Bunker Hill Road, just east of Memorial City Mall off of I-10. Please RSVP your interest in this event to Cecelia Zeitlin at chzeitlin@sbcglobal.net
